Welcome back from spring break! It seems that it is time to start the second semester! And with that new beginning comes the beginning of the fifth PE cycle!
Previously, I have been focusing mainly on my listening skills. But now, I want to turn the focus inward and improve my own speaking skills as well. So, this cycle's goal is:
- Goal 5: Technique I: Pitch and Inflection
- To be able to speak Japanese more clearly and correctly, using such characteristics as correct pitch and rhythm
- Ways to Goal 5:
- Post at least one video to blog each week
- Listen to at least one minute of Japanese music, speech, or poem in order to determine the pitch of the words
- Learn at least 25 new vocabulary words each week
- Post at least three written pieces to blog each week
- Go to office hours at least once a week
- Go to Japanese Language Table at least once a week
